In August 1998 Anneli found out that she could combine her passion for music with work and began playing at nightclubs in southeast of Sweden, but the interest in music began much earlier. Before she began going to school she played the piano at home and then she became a flutist and played classical music in orchestras. This changed in 1994 when she, with a little help from a friend, discovered electronic dance music in an underground Goatrance-party! For her this sound was beautiful - like classical music - and since then trance (in one way or another) has been her preferred style.

Today she mostly plays progressive-, psychedelic- and full on trance combined in her own special way, but she also plays electro/house/minimal, it depends on the organizer's demands and of course on the demands of the people on the dancefloor.

Her basic thought about music is that there is good music in every genre, you just have to keep on searching to find it. She believes that one part of the DJ's job is to communicate with the crowd and ask them what they want to listen to WITHOUT saying a single word! If there's a nice vibe on the dancefloor the DJ can feel the answers and at that moment he/she puts together a perfect set, knowing that the crowd is going to love every track played.

For the last few years she has been playing around the world, both in clubs and at outdoor festivals such as the Fullmoon Festival in Germany, Universo Paralello in Brazil, and Burningman in the USA, with 45 000 people partying in the Nevada desert! Japan, Brazil, Morocco, Lithuania, USA, Netherlands and Germany are some of the countries in which she has played, with more scheduled.

At the moment Anneli is compiling a cd for Phantasm, which will be released later this year. Keep your eyes open for this one...
